Activity Report for the Period of April Through June, 2015
April, 2015
- Irrigation: Irrigation was routed to 8,000 coconut plants. 95% of the plants were
watered with the new drip irrigation system and the other 5% with buckets.
- Fire Prevention Rounds: Fire prevention rounds were made around the perimeter of the farm covering about 6,500 meters; there was no threat of fire reported. There is always 24-7 on-site patrol taking care of each farm.
- Nursery Maintenance: 24,000 coconut plants in the nursery were prepared for 2015 plantation. The maintenance work consisted of cleaning, irrigation and pest control. BIO GREEN (100% organic fertilizer) was used to stimulate the growth of the plants.
- Trenching: 1,200 meters were dug to install the last section of the drip irrigation system.
- Soil Preparation: Pre-fortified soil was
prepared to refuel the coconut trees and some to be used in the nursery. 30% is sawdust, 50% black dirt, 10% BIO-GREEN (100%organic fertilizer) and 10% rice hulls. This combination will help the root of the plants to adapt easily in the ground.
- Irrigation Buttons: 8,000 irrigation buttons were inserted in the water pipes to maintain water flow to each individual coconut plant.
- Bio-Green: About 1,500 pounds of Bio-Green was used in the whole month to stimulate the plants in the field and the nursery.
- Pipe installing: 1,920 meters of water pipes were installed.

May, 2015
- Irrigation: Irrigation was provided to 8,000 coconut plants. 100% of the farm was irrigated with the drip irrigation system. We received 5 inches of rain.
- Brush Clearance: The whole farm was cleared allowing for ease of planting and space for tree growth and maintenance access.
- Nursery Maintenance and Irrigation: Maintenance and irrigation work took place on 24,000 plants; this included applications of Bio Green and pest control.
- BIO-GREEN Fertilization: Approximately 1,800 pounds of BIO-GREEN (100% organic fertilizer) was used plus pre-fortified soil for the nursery plants to stimulate germination and growth with great results.
- Night Patrols: Night patrols are permanent on the farm.

June, 2015
- Irrigation: Irrigation was provided to 8,000 coconut plants. 100% of the farm was irrigated with the drip irrigation system. We
received 8 inches of rain.
- BIO-GREEN Fertilization: 1,200 pounds of Bio-Green were used on the coconut trees and in the nursery.
- Maintenance and Irrigation to the Coconut Plants: Maintenance and irrigation was performed to 8,000 coconuts plants in the farm.
- Night Patrols: Night patrols continued with no threat of fire or any other issues were reported.
- The President’s visit: Alex Wilson visited all areas of production reviewing best practices of the teams and overall crop growth.
