By Nica Biz – July 1, 2021

“Poco A Poco” (little by little) progress is being made with international flights to Managua. The return of Aeroméxico Flights into the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua (MGA) has given the Nicaraguan travel and tourism industry something to cheer about.

Flight AM 650 flew into Nicaragua today and reconnected nationals and foreigners alike to the rest of the world through the Mexico City International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez).

The Mexican airport handled 50.3 million passengers in 2019, making it Latin America’s busiest airport by passenger traffic and aircraft movements. Aeroméxico offers 300 scheduled flights daily to 43 destinations in Mexico, 11 in the United States, five in Central America and two in the Caribbean.

Managua Flights

Aeroméxico Flights are currently scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and leaving at 9:10am from Mexico City, arriving in Managua at a very comfortable 11.05am. The return flight to Mexico City departs Managua at 12:05pm.

Both the arrival and departure times allow for a reasonable transportation connection from most of the popular tourist locations in Nicaragua.
